Aire Mile 78 Hensall Ings at high tide
The Aire is out of its banks, contained by the flood walls. Not all lengths of flood wall have a right of access so I had to switch banks by crossing the river via the A19 (full transparency – by car) and walking in from Hensall. It was a proper mud-fest.
