Coach Road Baildon Combined Sewer Overflow Permit Number WRA 8472. 32 discharges in 2022 lasting a total of 64.5 hours. Discharges into the River Aire.
19th century plumbing took both sewage and rainwater to treatment works so in heavy rain sewage would back up into homes without these overflows. Just another thing the Victorians did for us.
