Mile 14 Robin Wood 330'
I took the train up the Aire Valley to Gargrave and walked down river towards Skipton. The right of way clearly has little footfall and I was pushing through grass for much of it. I was carrying a lot of camera equipment today and I stopped here for an afternoon tea of flapjack and cold water: lightweight energy to offset the extra weight of camera glass.
This lovely little dip has been planted up with saplings that will take up water as well as providing shade for cattle. Let’s hope the tree-guards get cleared up once they’ve done their job!
