Mile 36 Baildon Charlestown 194'
The Ordnance Survey map shows that here, there are is a footbridge but it was out of service when I visited and I couldn’t even get near the river. A walk along the other bank was called for a few days later and it is very pleasing to find some features right on a Mile. So what have we here?
Firstly, another Combined Sewage Overflow, a railway bridge that is still in use and the out-of-service footbridge.
