Aire Mile 48 96’

I took this in the spring on an early try-out walk before Aire Miles began in earnest. This is the edge of the city centre and I felt lost amongst Leeds’s network of walkways, canal, bridges, roads, cycle lanes … utterly bewildering. I made several mistakes including carrying all my stuff (I like to have lots of stuff) in a shoulder bag and with the sun beating down too.

It was a 'learning experience,' but get this at Aire Mile 48 for here was a building site and Glory Be and yes it’s true: red cranes. They’re even better than yellow ones. I love red cranes and here they are.
