Aire Mile 56 Cockpit Round 55’

A straight stretch of the River Aire
called the Cockpit Round because there is another meander that has been by-passed. The man-made banks are well vegetated and it is difficult to peep through but here is a gap and there is woody debris in the water-course. Excellent news for kingfishers because they like to perch on stuff like this.
