Aire Mile 64 Fairburn 27’
I was here with a friend for company. It was raining lightly and we were happy to shelter in the RSPB bird hide here. I was pleased to be able to keep my cameras dry. The hide windows look out across another flooded coal-pit.
Even in the winter there are water fowl using the wetland and we ate our sandwiches while watching the birds and taking photos. Hides are just great.
